“There is no school equal to a decent home and no teacher equal to a virtuous parent” – Mahatma Gandhi.

In the past decade, homeschooling has evolved to become one of the fastest growing forms of education in the United States. A study by the National Home Education Research Institute reported an estimated 2.3 million children are currently home-schooled, a number that grows between 2-8% each year. The rapid growth is likely attributed to parents recognizing the benefits of customizing their children’s education. Home-educated students on average scored 15-30 percentile points higher on standardized tests than public school students, and typically measured above average across social, emotional, and psychological development. As a result, the homeschooling segment will continue to grow in both size and awareness, and will also garner increased interest from leading global educational content, technology, and delivery platform companies.
Maxim believes the future of education will continue to be heavily influenced by the rise of technology and the use of the Internet.  Online and technologically enhanced instruction enable instantaneous communication, customizable content and scalable platforms.
