Gregg Wilson founded Maxim and leads its Education and Wellness practices.
For over 30 years Gregg has been a private equity investor in both institutional and entrepreneurial environments based in Chicago. During this time, he has founded two private equity firms and been a partner of a Bank of America backed PE firm that managed over $1 billion of capital. His institutional experience includes roles as a member of the Investment Committee of Chase Capital Corporation, a unit of JP Morgan Chase, and leveraged lending roles with Bank of America and Citibank. Today, beyond the guidance he attempts to convey to his two daughters (and receives from his wife) and his various philanthropic interests, Gregg serves on the boards of Education Canada Group, Zenwise, Nutrasource, and Stratum and is an active early-stage investor mostly within the wellness industry. Gregg is actively involved with Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business where he holds a BS degree in Accounting and MBA in Finance, is a member of Kelley’s Dean’s Advisory Council, and has funded two endowed scholarships granted annually to 4 to 6 students.
